… and also an international bestselling author, futurist, and experience strategist/designer.
Since 2020, he has grown the WXO to 35+ countries and 555+ members inc Disney, Deloitte, Meow Wolf, Moment Factory.
Since 2014, he has run strategy, innovation, and futures consultancy The Future Is Already Here. Clients inc KPMG, HSBC, KFC, IDEO, and Facebook.
He has written two best-selling books:
i. Time And How To Spend It (Penguin, April 2019), named a ‘Book Of The Year’ by the Financial Times.
ii. Stuffocation (self-published 2013; Penguin, 2015; now in 7 languages)
Wallman has advised companies from Absolut to Zurich Financial. He has given talks from Amsterdam to Las Vegas; at venues including the Googleplex and 10 Downing Street.
He advises the British government: he is a 'Sector Specialist, Experience Economy' for the Department for International Trade.
He has forecast the future since 2004.

He holds an MA in Classics from the University of Oxford; an MA in Journalism from the University of the Arts London; and a Diploma in Entrepreneurship from the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge.
James lives in London with his wife and two children.
